The 28th International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC 28) will be held between 25th and 30th June, 2017, in Bucharest, Romania.
The Conference is held biennially under the auspices of the International Coordination-group for Laser Atmospheric Studies (ICLAS), of the International Radiation Commission (IRC). This edition will be co-hosted and supported by:
- National Institute of R&D for Optoelectronics
- “Politehnica” University of Bucharest
- National Institute of Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli”
- University of Bucharest
- “Babes-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca
- “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iasi
All sessions will be organized at the Conference Center of the “POLITEHNICA” University of Bucharest.
The conference will follow the typical set up of the ILRCs, with plenary-only oral sessions (limiting the number of oral presentations to one per author), and correlated poster sessions.
Side events including a one-day tutorial for young scientists, exhibition for manufacturers and integrators of instruments, thematic round-tables, etc. will also be accommodated in the program.
An opening reception (during the first day of poster session, onsite), and a banquet party coupled with a trip to historical places in the vicinity of Bucharest will be organized for all participants. Optional tours and events will be organized for the accompanying persons during the conference.
